It is getting very interesting to hear Sen. Obama, Sen. Biden and other Democrats of power define the Obama Tax Plan.
Barack Obama started touting his plan by saying that any family making $250,000 or individual making $200,000 would be "Middle Class" and get a tax break.
Then Sen. Obama lowered the $250,000 to $200,000. He did not specify that he was talking about only an idividual.
Next came Sen. Joe Biden, Obama's running mate. He said the "Middle Class" making $150,000 or less would get Obama's tax break.
Now Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico stated that the Obama "Middle Class" tax break will be for people earning $120,000 or less. He spoke with an air of authority.
When will we hear an even lower number to define the "Middle Class Tax Break?"
I also want to know how the Obama Plan will benefit "95% of Americans?" Not tax-paying Americans but Americans as a whole. These are Sen. Obama's words, not mine.
40% of Americans don't pay a dime in income tax, they do pay FICA and
Medicare taxes but then get a big tax break (called the "Earned Income
Credit") when filing their Federal Income Tax forms. Then they get most, if not all, of what they paid in via FICA and Medicare back.

After browsing many news sites, blogs and informational resources, I came upon a very recent article written by a news journalist that finally told the truth.
There was a movie long ago named "Network" where one of the reporters said "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"
Now another era and many crisis later a new cry comes from a real newspaper columnist. A Democratic one at that.
I invite all of you to read the article entitled "Would The Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On The Lights?" The author lays out the real bad guys and girls the way I haven't heard in decades. Thank you Orson Scott Card.
Please click the following link and carefully read and reread the article.
Honest ReporterThank you for taking the time. Reply all you like. I will give no rebuttal as the article speak for itself.

Almost two months ago I wrote in another blog that things were going to get downright nasty. Well, the "Doom and Gloom" political ads are already being aired.
It appears the James Carville and Paul Begala have taken control of Hillary Clinton's campaign. Her newest ad being aired locally, and I would assume nationally, is claiming that the Economy is in the dumpster, and ONLY Hillary Clinton can save us.
Remember "It's the economy stupid!" campaign of Bill Clinton? They're trying to do it again. Putting the fear of God into the senior citizens and others that everything is going to Hell in a hand basket.
I personally see nothing at all wrong with the economy. The sub-prime fiasco is about 1% of the total economy and only 1% of the loans are in default. Meaning that 99% of us are paying our mortgage payments on time. The budget deficit is being reduced because of the reduction in the tax rate, which should be made permanent.
We are no where near a recession. Stagflation maybe. Government needs to stay out of the way and let the markets work through the problems. That way we can get a successful resolution.
The three leading candidates - Clinton, Obama and McCain - will raise taxes and therefore destroy the economy. The dollar will plunge and the country will go into recession.
So far, this is the worst presidential campaign I have ever witnessed.
