I recently heard Ron Hoon talking about the federal taxes and why they were established. It is my understanding that the war debt from WWII had long been paid off, however the federal taxes are extended every year by presidential decree. Otherwise they have done what they should and are illegal. The federal government can abolish federal taxes any time they want.

I heard the news article about the government wanting to regulate cable etc to help the customers pay less. I know from what I heard the idea sounds great, why pay for channels you dont watch. However I am skeptical about their efforts to help us. This comes from back in the 70's when the government supposedly tried to regulate prices on goods to keep them from going sky high. It seems that every time they tried to stop it, things got even more costly. What good is saving money when it has the opposite effect? Who was saving money? The manufacterers? I recall many people wondering just who was being helped and how is paying more, saving them money. I dont mind saving money and getting help to do so, but not at the actual expense of paying more and getting less. P.T. Barnum, the government is not. I do see the reality and I am not all the fooled.

I do agree that the crash as in fact a sad event. However I recall back in the mid to later 80's I saw a near mid air crash between two heliocopters. It was during a prison disturbance at Florence and I had been driving along the main road. I observed one heliocopter hovering when I saw another one moving in at a fast rate. If the other one had not of moved away they would have crashed. I couldnt see where they were from due to my also needing to watch the road. There were others in the area but they were further back. I never forgot how close it came that day.
