Were you blown away by the Olympics' opening ceremony?

I wish I'd seen all of it, but what I caught was the most spectacular live event I've ever seen!  Communists or not, they put on an amazing show LOL.

London has its work cut out for Summer '12...

Sorry zerbie, I don't know how to explain it either but it was quite amazing!

It's one of those things you just have to see 1st hand because words just can't justify it!

You can google it though, lol.

How bout the American Mens Swimteam! Nice World Record Breaking Relay! WOW!

Phelps clenches a second Gold today! I think he will sweep the rest of the competitions.

If they produce a dvd of the opening ceremony I'd buy it! I've watch a good number of the ceremonies over the years and the one preformed in China was by far the greatest I've yet seen.

I can't remember what ceremony it was but the best lighting of the torch was the archer. I'd like to get that on DVD.

Talking about Phelps!! WOW he did it, he got number 10 Gold!!! Way To Go!! and he isnt nearly finished yet. We are watching the swimming very closely as my daughter is on the High School Swim Team, and has already been to State Finals (as an alternate so far), but hey who knows in the future!!

Was watching the Gymnastics last night - the American Girls did ok, and the Chinese team, there is no way those girls are all 16 yrs old, they dont look a day over 10 yrs!!! Is China altering the books???

Well alot of what you see coming out of China is very deceiving. For instance the little girl that sang during the opening ceremony was discovered to be lip sync'ing.

So, your probably right. The CH. Team probably is underage.

Phelps! There just are no words! All you can do is watch in Amazement!

Heard on the news tonight, there are kids who only see their parent 2 or 3 times at the most a year while they doing their sports in hopes of being the next gold winner. Now one ex olympian who won gold and got everything she needed has been diagnosed with diabetes and it is untreated and she only receives I think they said $300 approx a month!! She said she felt she had wasted her youth, how sad is that!!?? The Chinese are evil!!

Cory I heard Friday that the whole fireworks was computer graphics, not real, due to the excessive air pollution. The cute 7 year old why sang the anthem, actually lip synced the song, while the actual 7 year old singer stood behind a curtain and sang the song. She couldn't be on TV due to her bad teeth. Under aged athletes, CGI graphics, lip syncing, China is a sham.

No doubt, gang... China is a totalitarian state that is bad for the world.

I'm no fan of communism, and you'll hear us refer to the Chinese as communists on our show.

I was only making the observation that the opening ceremony was spectacular. But so are the pyramids. You can do almost anything with an endless supply of forced labor, eh?

Opening ceramonies: Awesome
Phelps' performances: Awesome
Closing ceramonies: Awesome

The fact that negative political bull was almost non-existant: PRICELESS!!!

(There are some things that money can't buy)

Also,If Phelps would melt all of his gold medals, he probably could entirely fund the 2010 Winter Games...lol

I use to love watching the olymipcs. But not as much now because I have no one to talk agree enjoy with any more But I think that they do provide a good way to see just how we are all live.

Thanks for checking in! My goal is to make Fox10 mornings fun ones, and I'm still having a blast after all these years... When I'm not at the station, my wife and I are usually chasing around three kids, two dogs and a cat or ramming around the Valley in the Sedona. If you see me out and about anywhere, be sure to say howdy!
