Hi Everybody,

Look for it to be a little warm on Saturday but some change coming for Sunday. Saturday

will be about 90 degrees with a 5 to 6 degree temperature change on Sunday. The

weekend will be breezy to windy as well.

 

 

Watch your kids around water

I think the monsoon season for this area begins in August? I was just talking to a life long resident of this area... I know that with the heat here and the wind shifting,monsoon, there are outbreaks of Storms, microbursts.... Microbursts are dangerous! The lightning- Would be happy to see any precip and I have only been in Arizona for a week- My mother in law said she didn't see rain for the first 8 months that she was here- WOW!

The monsoon will start on the 15th of June and end on September 30th.

If you would kindly oblige, my contest is for the military recruiting centers around AZ and the Country. I'm a vet from AZ and remembered you as a pretty cool guy and thought you could do this for us. I served as a RADAR guy at Luke and later Chief of the electronics at the Goldwater Range. All I need is an official person (such as yourself) to announce the monsoon has begun. I'm in Nashville now and don't get your broadcasts but would love to have you as the official source in our blog contest. (It's pizza we are talking about and by no means anything else) Could you inform as to when you determine the official date? Thanks. Sincerely, Mike M.

PS: I have bloggers who live in different towns in AZ and they have all agreed to accept Phoenix over Tucson as the source. (We are aware of the differences). Thanks
