I haven't watched the Olympics since I was a kid-- so I was surprised that I actually had an interest in tuning in this year.  There were even events I had never heard of-- like the TRAMPOLINE!  How bizarre!

Did any of y'all get to watch?? (when you weren't watching FOX 10 News, of course), and if so, what was your favorite event?

It's amazing some of the things the human body is capable of.  Running at 30 mph, bending your legs so far back they almost touch your head, and hurling yourself from the same height of a 3-story building- all while doing flips in the air.

I always wanted to be an Olympian....unfortunately, power sleeping isn't a sport....

At least, not yet. :)

I would put watching the Olympics one step below watching golf. Watching paint dry would be more interesting then watching golf.

Did ya know that sleeping disorder is an epidemic in the u.s.Not shure what exactly causes the symptoms but one thing for shur alot of stress related issues contribute to this disorder or the simplicity of lacking excersise. Also not eating a well balanced food group does it also. Now back to the advent of this olympic event, shure i kept up with the introduction part but couldn't keep up with the games because i had been busy exploreing the woods hunting animals."don't ask?" t.t.f.n.

Hi Isis,

Yeah, the Trampoline kinda threw me off a little too. Did you find yourself wanting to "push off" every time the athelete bounced?

That and Synchronized Diving... Like solo diving isn't tough enough??

I liked the ladies Beach Volleyball - for obvious reasons :-)
