A well placed source has provided a glimpse into the dirty City of Phoenix Pools situation.  The public was told only what the city wanted released. But there's more to the story.  For starters, once the infected pool was identified, the city should have stopped life guards from going to other pools potentially infecting them.  My source also tells me the contamination (blamed on a dirty diaper by the mayor) could very well have come from life guards who tubed on the Salt River.  I've also learned that when people started getting sick... there was never any test done for cryptosporidium.  We got information - just not all the information.

I'm not surprised the city held back information to make themselves look better, but I am surprised they risked the health of thousands of kids taking swim lessons to do so.

People were complaining about being sick weeks before they tested and closed the pools.

another major reason to RECALL GORDON.....apparently he doesnt think that you and I are smart enough to handle the whole truth. Makes me wonder what else he is LYING about or even WITH HOLDING INFORMATION to "protect my family"?

I thought this blog was about City pools not Gordon.
The question should be, why do they have lifeguards that don't enforce the rules? The rules state a baby must be in a swimming suit. I heard one of the lifeguards state they didn't enforce that rule but they will start now. If it was a rule why was it not enforced? This is what happens when you hire children to watch children.

As for a cover up, give me a break. John If you think the story should include tubing down the river then why not go on air with an editorial on your source stating what they've heard. No, You can't do that because it is nothing more then speculation. As is anyone trying to figure out the exact source. IT'S ALL SPECULATION.

Why don't you get your story straight and get some education so you don't have to stoop to name calling. The first thing that does is indicate you don't know what you are taling about.
