Has anyone else noticed that if you leave a Birthday card, Anniversary card, Sympathy card in your mail slot for pickup, chances are, the next day it will still be there???  So then you take it to the post office to drop it in the slot, and there's a new sign (like we needed that) that says something to the fact, that if the card weighs 13 ounces or more, you must take it to the counter in the post office to show whats in it, due to heightened Homeland Security levels.
I say BULL $HIT, I've yet to see a Hallmark Bomb. Back off Chertoff !!!
P.S. Has the new drivers license with the RF transmitter chip in it been revoked yet??

OK Mr. US Post Office, please splain dis one

Although I've flown US Airways once since the sell out, that will have been my last time.
Asking pilots to fly with minimum amount of fuel is INSANE.
What happens if you have to reroute to another city, states away, (happens all the time)
or what happens if you have to circle in the air to wait out a storm.
I see only one good thing to come from this, as the US Airways jets are running out of fuel, and dropping out of the air, the Southwest Jet I'll be on, will get to land that much sooner- SWEEEET     Good thinking Doug

As you  watch the flooding in the Midwest ?

Have you noticed that there are no farmers running around with stolen
plasma TVs or holding stolen liquor over their heads.

 There's no looting or yelling
         'Where's  Bush?',
         'Where's  FEMA?,
         Where's  my  check?', or
'Why isn't the Gov't out here saving me and my farm?'

Why isn't the Federal Government relocating Iowa people to free hotels
in Chicago ?

When will Spike Lee say that the Federal Government blew up the levees
that failed in Des Moines ?

Where are Sean Penn and the Dixie Chicks?

Where are all the looters stealing high-end tennis shoes and big
screen television sets?

When will we hear Governor Chet Culver say that he wants to rebuild a
'vanilla' Iowa, because that's the way God wants it?

Think about it!!!

Dear Fellow Motorist,
As fuel costs have escalated there has been an equal increase in the number of politicians and editorial boards that are calling for the return of the 55 MPH national speed limit. The most recent politician to advocate reducing speed limits is John Warner, a Republican senator from Virginia.   Going back to this counter-productive law will have zero effect on fuel prices, but it will generate millions of speeding tickets, auto insurance premium surcharges, and a whole new level of motorist harassment. If you don't want to return to the days when an Interstate trip consisted primarily of looking for speed traps, now is the time to speak up. Anytime an elected official, reporter, editor, or talk show host starts lamenting the loss of the 55 MPH national speed limit (and the Nixon-Carter years) they should hear from you.   Here's a few points you can stress:   -Only a very small percentage of our streets, roads, and highways are posted for speeds above 55 MPH (about two percent).   -Artificially low speed limits will not be complied with and they just invite abuse by unethical public officials and law enforcement agencies.    -Most of our motor fuels are actually burned up in urban/suburban settings and highways posted at or below 55 MPH. A car going 75 MPH on an Interstate highway is still getting far better mileage than one going 25 MPH in stop and go urban traffic.   -The 55 MPH national maximum speed limit was a 22 year long public policy disaster that wasted billions of dollars and billions of man-hours while corrupting state agencies (for the sake of federal highway funds) and misallocated law enforcement resources that could have been used in much more productive ways.   -Any person that wishes to save fuel by driving slower is free to do so, just as they are free to use more fuel efficient vehicles, car pool, combine trips, or vacation closer to home. The public needs neither a legal hammer over its head nor a government incentive to act in its own best interest. The last two energy "crises" proved that government price controls, rationing schemes, and attempts to dictate fuel distribution decisions were an unmitigated disaster. The same can be said for the 55 MPH national maximum speed limit.   For more information on motorist issues, please visit www.motorists.org.

OK now on to the next subject!  When are you city Police Chiefs going to realize, Sheriff Joe is the CEO of Maricopa County. We (80%) of the citizens want Joe to continue EXACTLY what he is doing. You can't stop Joe, you can't fight Joe, he only makes you look like blooming idiots, ask Phool Gordon? Now get over yourselves and help Joe and in turn, help all of us Legal residents of the USA.   GO JOE!

How dare you talk bad about Jessica Hahn, or Monica Lewinsky when you are a bigger slut then either one of them. You and Oprah, just chatting away about your Home wrecking affairs with Married men. Congressman Edward Brooke's wife should rip your face off. And HO, you have a list of affairs, the Congressman, Richard Prior, Alan Greenspan (ick) Mr. Goldstein,
you are truly a pig. You and your buddy Oprah, both need to publicly  apologize to Monica and to Jessica for the humiliation you caused them.
