It's a great idea for everyone who works in the valley and has to drive a vehicle!  Imagine how much you will save by not having to drive on Fridays.  It's Working in Avondale!  I hope the governor puts this into effect immediately and all towns follow-suit!

If it is working in Utah and other places I say go for it.

There are so many other ideas that could be implemented to save energy. Some have started but many are reluctant to get on board.

Such as working from home, of course not all vocations are compatible with this. But the ones that are need to implement this plan.

You could also have centralized trash pickups. Do you realize how much fuel in takes for the garbage trucks to stop and start at every home?
They already do this on a smaller scale in some areas. They have larger cans for two homes. Only trouble is you would have to figure out where to put the container.

Increase the number of park and rides. Do surveys to get feed back on where they would be the most useful and affect the largest number of people.

There are these and many more things that people could do to help conserve.

The four day week sounds good.
