Not unusual work but my sons help my daughter who attends college,it's her last year and they don't want to see her quit , her job pays peanuts, and she has to support her daughter she is slated to graduate in May 09.Her daughter works but there is just not enough income coming in.They have to do without a lot,and don't drive when it isn't necessary.

There are companies that will buy your gas for you if you drive around with their ad posted all over your vehicle.

Not a bad idea but some have a high mileage per mo. criterium. One company wants a 1,000 miles a month.

1 average 500 miles a month just going to work. I would have to aimlessly drive around for an additional 500 miles every mo. to get the free gas.

I don't know if adding the additional miles to my vehicle is worth it for someone elses prosperity.

If they throw in a new car after 50k. Now we're talking!

I work an extra day now and then to help offset the additional cost we incur each month. I commute 1,000 miles a month.

If it keeps going up, or gets around $5.00 a gallon like we keep hearing I may have to work Van Buren on my days off.......;)

Keith:

I do have friends sporting their own ads on their vehicles. I'm in the advertising/marketing business myself and know this is a great marketing tool for businesses and wouldn't mind 20 vehicles driving around with my logo on it.

Someone like "jteamaz" could certainly benefit from such a program.

If your already putting on the miles, than you might as well do it for free!

Jobing.com is doing what?
'Filling up employees vehicles with gas'???

I'm not familiar with Jobing.com.
Is that a 'Genesis Company' or
are they just 'Bean Processors'?

Friends sporting their own ads? Ads for their companies or other companies?

Keith:

Ads for themselves, yes. I know quite a few Small Business owners in the Valley that self promote themselves with their own vehicle wraps.

The word is the Vehicle Ads draws more business than their own company websites.
It's a great way to put your brand in front of thousands of consumers every day!

I'm not surprised that there are companies willing to pay commuters, it's agreat concept!

If anyone is looking for ways to save on gas and don't mind using their vehicle as a Bulletin board. Look for these marketing companies.

Keith,
I have been standing outside Chippendale's every night, wearing nothing but a Speedo, holding a sign that says:
WILL DANCE FOR GAS.
I haven't had any takers yet though.

I grew up in South Florida, playing our version of Little League on the clay fields of South Miami. My dad coached. My mom still doesn't forgive me for my foul ball which almost took off her head. My favorite childhood moment: Dad and I screaming in the Orange Bowl when his Alma Mater, the University of Miami Hurricanes, beat the previously invinsible Nebraska Cornhuskers. Football still reigns supreme. When I wasn't swinging a racket or holding a bat, my mom got me writing, initially for my junior high school paper. I'm still writing today and watching (no longer playing) sports. Now I share life with my wonderful wife, a cat who acts like a dog and a dog who likes chasing the cat.
