I have firm beliefs in a creator and that was my solid upbringing. I see how people can overwhelm other people about god or religion. But using god in the plural sense leaves it open. Almost every religion has a higher being, a god if you would like to call it. So when kids in school say the pledge of Allegiance its not far fetched to say they and talking to their god.
I had a math teacher that was very religious and liked to bring it to conversation in the classroom. Many students were angered by has rash thinking. That i would say is taking it too far in school. But the Pledge of Allegiance? That's something everybody in America was brought up on. Our founding fathers that created this wonderful nation, based the country on religion, freedom, and a firm constitution. For us to take God away is a very ignorant and brash thing to do. But even though the word God has stayed in the pledge their are still people trying to ban it. I am tired of the socialists in our country trying to bring down what  true Americans have built.
They are ungrateful and so blissfully ignorant on the facts of life that they miss the good and look at the bad. And when they see bad they blame only one type of people WHITE CHRISTIAN AMERICANS. The racism has left the white race  and the other multi-cultural people are taking it back.
