It is unfortuate that some people feel if we have a  African American President and First Lady that there is an "agenda."  It is unfortuate that some people still have racism issues and cannot get beyond the color of ones skin, realizing that we all bleed the same color of RED.  It is unfortuate that some people reject and refuse to understand the cultural differences between races.  It is also unfortuate that we as people of the United States of America cannot come to grips with the fact that everyone is equal in God's eyes.

If we take the time to think about where we came from, what we've learned, what we regret doign or saying, who we stepped on to get where we are, how we would  feel if we had gone through the holocust or even slavery, what generations before us had to endure, the familes that have been affected by deaths from the war, the floods in the midwest, Katrina, and so so much more.  It is hard to grasp I know, so please let's start putting forth the effort of eliminating those things that separate us as a people and a country.

Great post ladyjerimiah. If people really want the facts, they should do their own research on legitimate websites or do something unheard of: read books, newspapers or newsmagazines.

It is sad that some people can't get past skin color and move on to the issues. The media (radio, TV) only gives us snippets of sound bites and not full quotes at times. I feel there are a lot of ignorant people out there that are sheep and will listen to anything and believe it instead going into depth about an issue and exploring it. Never come to a conclusion right after hearing something - there's always two sides to a story.

I'd love a First Couple of a different colour in the White House. I think Gen. Colin Powell and his wife Alma would do well. Then there's Bobby Jindal and his wife Supriya. What do you think about these two?

We Are All People of Color!

We All Belong to One Family and One Race!

All people of every pigment tone
(Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid)
are from the Human Race noted as: Homo sapiens.
None of which having anything to do with
religion, finance, education or politics.

The qualities of each human is dependent upon the individual levels of senses regarding love and/or hatred.
Each person sets their own inner emotional-thermostat based upon each's social self worth and personal associations.

You mention a type immediately...... Why?
(does this tell you something?)

The dynasties of religion, finance, education or politics are only as good or evil as those people therein; i.e., in politics, as you stressed:

Most politicians 'falsify' and think nothing of it.
"It's what they do Best"!!!

They sell their "PERSONALITIES" nothing more!!!

Beware! Regardless of one's 'human-type'!
Politicians, in general, rape us with their lies and implant phony manufactured seeds of accomplishments!

See through all the 'dynasties' pigmentations'
..... for your choice is your quality.

God Bless!

Black people seem to think that it's because Obama is black that we don't like him. In actuality it's because he is a radical left wing wacko. He could be pasty white and that wouldn't make it alright to raise my taxes to pay for all of the giveaway benefits going to illegals and welfare recipients. It takes a lot of money to pay for medical insurance for every person in the country. If you people think all of this money will be taken from the rich and given to the poor, your living in a fairytale world.

I agree with you 100% ladyjerimiah. There are two main causes for racism.
1. Our government. Their so called "affirmative action" is racism. It puts someone ahead solely for their race. Our government also allows tax deductions for contributing to racist organizations such a NAACP, United Negro College Fund, etc. No racist orginization whether KKK, NAACP or whatever should be a tax deductible organization. Any group that promotes their race over another race is racist. The government promoting racism is wrong.
2. The liberals in our society are increasing racism. Things like the liberal press calling ILLEGALS watered down terms like undocumented or just immigrants. By listening to the news say something like "the sheriff is rounding up immigrants" is as inaccurate as saying "the police are arresting people for withdrawing money from the bank" when they are really stealing money from the bank. The liberals and the liberal press leave out important facts to help their liberal cause.
Some will say I am a racist for saying these things. I am not. I have no problem whatsoever with a Black president. If conservative talk radio host Walter Williams ran for president, I would vote for him in a heartbeat over the two losers we have running now. Also, I think all people of all races should be welcome in the United States as long as they come here legally. If they are White and illegal, they should be rounded up, thrown in jail, then deported. Just like all other races.

cadman768, you hit the nail on the head. I don't think that the BO family are the people that should be in their. Colin Powell would be better. even some street folks would be better.

Amazing a post were (so far) we all seem to agree.
I will not vote for Obama because I don't like his politics and his policies.
His being black is not an issue with me and should not be a reason to vote for or against him.
Sadly for some it will be an issue, the good news is that in my lifetime the number of people that would not vote for him just because of his race is so much smaller now than when I was first able to vote that he can be the nominee of a major party with a real chance to win.
He may well become the first black president, but only because Colin Powell did not run.

I don't have an issue either with his color. I just think he is the one for Presidency this time around. His wife is not a political person and I feel that she will do him more harm than good. All she needs to do is be careful what and how she speaks. I to will not vote for him. I think he is a radical and we are not ready for that kind of person. If we were at a world war then we might need one who is really moxy and not afraid. We are not at world war and hope we never see another. I believe I will write in a name of my choice if there is a write in line on the ballot. Thank You very much.

I think Reverend Al Sharpton and his rainbow colition friend Reverend Jesse JJ Jackson would be a good and colorful change for the "white" house time to look for a change and that should also mean change of the stuffed shirted "white" house types that have run this country into the ground and then we can really see a lot of new polocies that will be done to furte=her ruin our country!!!!! LOL

Come to my door, baby,
Face is clean and shining black as night.
My mother went to answer you know
That you looked so fine.
Now I could understand your tears and your shame,
She called you "boy" instead of your name.
When she wouldn't let you inside,
When she turned and said
"But honey, he's not our kind."
She says
I can't see you any more, baby,
Can't see you anymore.
Walk me down to school, baby,
Everybody's acting deaf and dumb.
Until they turn and say, "Why don't you stick to your own kind."
My teachers all laugh, the smirking stares,
Cutting deep down in our affairs.
Preachers of equality,
Think they believe it, then why won't they just let us be?
They say I can't see you anymore baby,
Can't see you anymore.
One of these days I'm gonna stop my listening
Gonna raise my head up high.
One of these days I'm gonna raise up my glistening wings and fly.
But that day will have to wait for a while.
Baby I'm only society's child.
When we're older things may change,
But for now this is the way, they must remain.
I say I can't see you anymore baby,
Can't see you anymore.
No, I don't want to see you anymore, baby.

LOOK AT YOUR BLACK MAN NOW JANIS

I don't think so. NO BO IN 08. As the people in England have already stated. Why is the presidency based on race and not politics. Any body got an answer, those who are more political than I am. Thanks

Want "Black"..... better look elsewhere!

estions-about-ethnic.html

For those of you who want to make an 'Ethnic Group' the Issue..... Grab a hold of this:

Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
He is not "African American" but A Caucasian-Arab mix.
Mr. Obama is not an “African-American” as defined in United States law.
Sen. Obama is actually "Arab-American".
Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side.
He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.

These responses are to a number of comments posted to my blog, you are aware of which one is yours.
I am for someone that will bring peace and unity to our nation as well as reestablish the lines of communication between other countries. Because, as of right now The United States of America's name is no longer highly respected throughout the world and this should change.
It may be BO or JM who knows! What I do know is that I would prefer not to have a draft mandated, the war we are fighting have been based on lies, our current President continues to have meetings behind closed doors, jobs are disppearing to other countries who in return we get lead coated toys that are poisoning our children, our economy is terrible, gas and so on. I am tired of status quo!!! Change or experience who cares as long as the next generation keep dying in wars a whole generation will be lost.
If you want to use political correctness about BO race, let's go one further and say that regardless to who you and I vote for in November, the electorial college will decide who the President will be. Hopefully this won't be another "2000."
In regards to the "Black" people seeing only black, that was one of the reasons for my first comment. As MLK stated "it is not about the color of ones skin but the content which lies within."
I would never vote for Al Sharpten nor Jesse Jackson, maybe Colon Powell.

Please think!

Politicians generally do what they do best......
"Seek Attention via espousing impractical ideas,
reinforce those ideas with false claims
and blame failure on another."
..... Most are merely ..."Con Artist".

Their conception of people in general, seemingly, is to
"Control" without empiricism (logic, analysis, and synthesis) reason".
They prostitute themselves for undeserved fame and power.
It's a Personality Game!
'Most' are self indulgent parasites living off their host; US!
It really doesn't matter if 'anything' is done for the 'people' or not ...
Their Ultimate Importance is merely being ....."The Politician".
