Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama shrugged off a crude comment aimed at him by the Rev. Jesse Jackson, accepting an apology for a remark Jackson made as he contended that Obama wasn't speaking to issues important to the black community.

Unaware that his microphone was on during a break for a Fox News program last Sunday, Jackson used a slang reference to wanting to cut off Obama's testicles. When he learned Wednesday that the Fox News program "The O'Reilly Factor" would air his comments that night, Jackson apologized for "hurtful and wrong" remarks.

Why did Fox opt not to air the entire remark? If it had been Dom Imus, the whole sordid remark would have been aired over and over again. Just because Jackson is a minister? Rubbish. These so called religious leaders who exhibit less than "Christian" virtues need to be exposed for what they really are.

Phony Baloney. It's all for public consumption. Jackson meant every word of what he said.

Imagine how they'd be howling if Don Imus had said it.

The "reverend" Jackson puts the term reverend in the toilet.
He is a racist bigit who loves to use the race card any chance he gets.

This is the same guy who got a 17 year old pregnant (in California).

Yeah, he's a class act.

Exactly, I heard Obama's speech and had to wonder if he was running for President or looking to be the next Pope.

You gotta love these guys, such hypocrites!! Another reason to leave religion out of politics. Mr. Jackson is hardly deserving of the title "Reverend."

also why is there no outcry for this racist black man. the white people should set up protests around the country and not shop in any shops that are owned by the black man don't buy your trinkets and baubles from anyone of color.this is the same man who called NYC hymietown while is partner in crime sharpton protests about some thugs who got shot down. by sitting in the middle of streets,if a white group of people try this they will be branded racists by people like jackson and sharpton amongst other rabble rousers and that will give the chance for people of color to then go out and steal and rob in the name of protesting.

The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, while visiting a primary school class, found themselves in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings.
The teacher asked both men if they would like to lead the discussion of the word 'tragedy'. So the illustrious Rev Jackson asks the class for an example of a 'tragedy'.
One little boy stood up and offered: 'If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy.'
No,' says the Great Jesse Jackson, 'that would be an accident.'
A little girl raised her hand: 'If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy. I'm afraid not,' explains the exalted Reverend Al. 'That's what we would call a great loss. ' The room goes silent. No other children volunteered.
Reverend Al searches the room. 'Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?'
Finally at the back of the room little Johnny raises his hand. In a stern voice he says: 'If a plane carrying the Reverends Jackson and Sharpton were struck by a missile and blown to smithereens that would be a tragedy.'
Fantastic!' exclaims Jackson and Sharpton
'That's right. And can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?'
'Well,' says little Johnny, 'because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great loss, and it probably wouldn't be an accident either.

Obama isn't going to do anything to help Blacks, because he isn't Black.
As for the Rev.Jesse Jackoff, he has done less than anybody, of any color, for Blacks in America!
As for the comment by azslammer that the wrong man may have died in 1968; Study the TRUE history of both sides of the civil rights movement, and the assassination of MLK, not the media version of history, and see if you don't come to the conclusion that the Rev. Jackoff and company, were the ones behind the assassination of MLK.
And remember, who stepped up and appointed himself the "spokesman" for Blacks in America, before MLK was laid to rest?
Did anybody else see what Rev.Jackoffs' son had to say about "Dear Ole Dad"? Didn't look like any love loss there!

Obama Accepts Jackson's Apology For Crude Remark owing to the fact that they are both phonies to begin with.

Leaders my foot! They are herps; (a collective name given to reptiles)!

"Reverend" ...... what's to be revered, certainly not that clown?

"Lying Arab-American Politician" ....... so what else is new?

When will people ever wake up? (A very old Question)

It appears people never will.

May GOD save us from our own stupidity.
