I toatally agree with the tean restrictions.

I think we should add restrictions to peopele using there cell phone without a hands free set as well as being out in the fast lane using there cell phone and driving slow.,

Cell phones while driving should not be permitted. Unless it's an emergency. I'm so sick of getting behind someone who goes under the speed limit, cuts people off, sits at a light that has turned green and the list goes on.
I always take my cell phone with me. I do not answer it while driving. I can get the message when I stop or return home.
I have a cell phone in case of emergency. Not to sit and gab with my friends, while driving, about the great deal I just got on a new shirt. I don't see the point, urgency or need. Unneccessary things like that can wait.
I wish more people would realize their full attention is not focused on the road when they're on the phone and wait until they stop to make or take the call.

I think it's great if it can be enforced, toooo many times drivers do not stop when they are supposed to because they are yakking on the phone!
I thought the triangle sign that is RED means stop proceed with caution not run through without looking!

I think cell phone usage inside a vehilce should be treated the same way that drunk drivers are treated...sent straight to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.00.

Driving a vehicle while talking on the phone is just as dangerous as driving while intoxicated and should have the same stiff penalties as first time DUI offenders. Jail time and large fines, that will at least put a hugh curb in the cell phone activities while driving your car.

I also strongly believe that if you kill someone with your car while using a cell phone it should be a mandatory felony conviction!!

with a MINIMUM of 6months in jail, and a "no-time served" clause (meaning that you DO NOT get time off for time served or good behaivor) and a 250K fine.

I don't think the law for cell phone usage for adults on the highways will change.

I see plenty of law enforcement people talking on their cell phones while driving.

Raybeez hit it on the head. When Government Officials are using their cars as an office, no laws will change. Not just the Cops but all forms of Government.

I've seen police on the cell phone too while driving. I also caught somebody recently who swore they never drive and talk on there cell phone. I pulled up right beside her and totally busted her. You should have seen her face. Priceless.

My work requires workers who do alot of driving to have a cell phone. I prefer to leave a msg for them to call me back than to know I am participating in a potentialy deadly situation. Im getting them trained pretty good on holding off on a phone call until they are pulled over or parked. First thing I ask when they answer my call is "are you driving?" For a little while I would hear "Yes"and I just say "call me back" but now I never hear that. And I've got the bosses to lighten up on them when they don't answer the phone right away. Our guys are much more relaxed now that they don't have to worry about getting the damn phone.

We need to just keep giving all the people we know who use a cell phone while driving alot of BLEEP. Like the guys and the bosses at my work they will learn to live without the cell phone on the road.

Those who "need" to talk on the phone while driving and don't use handsfree need to pull there heads out their butts and buy themselves a hands free phone.

I don't think it will take much longer for a law to be passed to ban the use of hand held cell phones while driving. Just like the seatbelt law, it will take far to much time, but eventually it will get passed.

I don't know how you all do it anyways.

I get a call on my cell phone, and I am off in a under a minute. But I want to know, how do you people stay on the phone so dang long?

DOESNT YOUR FACE FEEL LIKE ITS MELTING OFF?
